Website Terms

The terms governing use of the SmartServe Websites public site.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the public website at websites.smartserveai.uk. By accessing or using the website, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website.

These are website-use terms only. They do not govern website design, development, hosting, maintenance or support supplied to a client.

Every paid client project is governed by the proposal, quotation and any service or maintenance terms agreed for that project. Those documents take priority over general website content if there is any inconsistency.

2. About SmartServe Websites

SmartServe Websites is operated by SmartServe AI Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

3. Purpose of the website

The website provides general information about our web-design, development, launch and website-management services. It also displays selected live work and clearly labelled concept work.

Website content is provided for general information and business evaluation only. It is not legal, financial, accounting or other professional advice.

4. Enquiries, pricing and client projects

Submitting an enquiry does not require you to buy anything and does not require us to accept a project. No client contract is created until the relevant proposal or quotation has been accepted in the stated way and any required initial payment has been made.

Prices and service descriptions shown on the website describe the standard scope available at the time of publication. A final quote may differ where a project needs additional pages, content, third-party services or functionality outside that standard scope.

The agreed proposal will set out the actual deliverables, client responsibilities, payment schedule, revisions, ownership or licensing, timetable, hosting, support and cancellation terms for the project.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • use the website in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers, databases, forms or connected systems;
  • introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website;
  • test or circumvent security controls without written permission;
  • use automated tools to overload, scrape or extract website content in a harmful or unreasonable way;
  • impersonate another person, business or organisation; or
  • submit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, confidential or misleading material through the enquiry form.

6. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website's original branding, design, text, graphics, interfaces and code are owned by SmartServe AI Ltd or used under licence.

You may view and use the website for legitimate personal or business-evaluation purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit our content without written permission, except where the law expressly permits it.

SmartServe, SmartServe AI, SmartServe Websites and associated brand elements must not be used in a way that suggests an endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our written permission.

7. Portfolio and concept work

Portfolio examples may include live customer or company websites, screenshots, prototypes and concept designs. Concept work is labelled as such and should not be understood as work commissioned or approved by a real client.

Business names, logos, photographs and other third-party materials shown in portfolio examples remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not transfer ownership to SmartServe or imply an endorsement beyond the context stated on the page.

8. Accuracy and website availability

We take reasonable care when preparing the website, but we do not guarantee that every statement, image, price or example will always be complete, current or free from minor errors. We may update the website as our services and portfolio develop.

We aim to keep the site available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent access. We may update, restrict, suspend or withdraw any part of it for maintenance, security, operational or business reasons.

10. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

This public website is provided without charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website content, temporary website unavailability or third-party websites outside our control.

Responsibility relating to paid website design, build, hosting, maintenance or support services is governed by the separate agreement for that client project.

Nothing in these terms affects mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information submitted through this website.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, our services or applicable laws change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

The updated terms apply to website use after they are published. Changes to an existing client project remain governed by that project's separate agreement.

13. General provisions

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.

These website terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment or joint-venture relationship between you and SmartServe.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right that allows a consumer to bring proceedings elsewhere in the United Kingdom.

Client work

Website builds and monthly care plans are governed by the proposal and service terms agreed for that specific client—not by these public website terms.
